Free crm audit
Know which CRM fits, what it will cost, and what to do first. In 7 days.
For B2B companies and high-ticket B2C businesses: manufacturing, insurance, professional services, distribution, construction, wholesale and similar.
Most businesses do not know which CRM to pick, how much it costs, or whether they need outside help. And if they already have one, they are probably not getting half the value out of it.
We will map how your business works, find the gaps, and hand you a written report telling you exactly what to do and in what order. Yours to keep, whether you work with us or not.
of CRM projects fail. Here is why.
It is not the software. The software is the easy part.
The reason is almost always the same: they picked a tool before they understood their own process.
Most businesses start the same way. They research CRMs, watch demos, compare pricing, and pick something that looks good. Then they spend months implementing it, get the team trained, and six months later nobody is using it. The project is quietly abandoned, and the budget is gone.
Before you choose any software, you need to know how your business actually works. How do you find customers? How do you sell to them? How do you deliver what you promised? How do you keep them coming back? Most companies have never mapped this out clearly. And without that clarity, no CRM in the world would work for you.
The audit
Before you look at a single CRM, do this first.
We sit with you for a few hours and figure out exactly how your business works in practice. How you find customers, how you sell to them, how you deliver your product or service, how you handle problems when they come up, and whether you do anything to keep customers coming back.
We call this a CRM Audit. It is essentially a structured conversation, supported by a set of tools and techniques, that helps us build a clear picture of your business before recommending anything.
What kind of business process do you have?
A manufacturing company quoting custom parts has completely different needs to an insurance broker managing policy renewals or a consultancy managing a project pipeline. The right CRM for one is the wrong CRM for the other.
How digitally ready is your team?
This just means: who works in your company, what tools they already use, what they are comfortable with, and what has been tried before. If a previous implementation failed, we want to know why. Most of the time it was not the tool. It was the approach.
What should you fix before you implement anything?
Sometimes the answer is not a CRM at all. Sometimes it is a process change, a different tool entirely, or simply getting the basics right first. We will tell you that honestly, even if it means we are not the right fit for the next step.
This is not a sales pitch dressed up as a consultation. We are not tied to any single CRM. We have tested close to 100 different solutions and we will recommend whatever is genuinely right for your business, including pointing you to someone else if that is what you need.
What you receive
Here is exactly what you get.
All for free.
At the end of the audit, we put together a full written report. Not a generic summary. A document built around your specific business, your specific process, and your specific situation.
-
A map of how your business actually works
We call this a Customer Journey Map. It is simply a visual diagram showing every stage your customer goes through, from the moment they first hear about you to the moment they return, or do not. Most business owners have never seen their own business drawn out like this. It is usually the most valuable part of the whole session.
-
A CRM recommendation specific to your business
Not a shortlist of popular options. One clear recommendation, with a plain explanation of why that tool fits your process, your team size, and your budget range. If more than one tool could work, we will tell you that too and explain the difference.
-
A list of what needs to change before you implement anything
This is the part most vendors skip entirely. Sometimes a process needs fixing before software can help it. Sometimes a team needs a different way of working first. We will tell you exactly what those things are and in what order to tackle them.
-
A project quote
A clear, itemised estimate of what implementation would cost if you decided to move forward. You can use this quote to work with us, or take it to any other vendor you like. It is yours.
-
A referral if we are not the right fit
If we go through the audit and conclude that we are not the best people to help you with the next step, we will tell you that directly and point you to someone in our network who is. We would rather lose the project than do it badly.
The honest answer
Why is this free? There has to be a catch.
There is no catch. Here is our honest answer.
A small number of businesses that go through the audit decide to work with us on the implementation. That is where we make our money. The audit itself is how we show you what we are capable of before you commit to anything.
We have found that this works better than any sales call. Instead of us telling you we are good at this, we just show you. You walk away with a real deliverable that took real expertise to produce. If it is useful, you will remember who made it.
If you decide not to work with us after the audit, that is completely fine. You keep everything we produced. There is no invoice coming your way, no persistent follow-ups, and absolutely no pressure from our side.
We do this because we are confident that if we do the audit well, some of those people will come back. Not all of them. But enough. And that is a fair deal for everyone.
The only thing we ask is that you show up to the session ready to talk openly about how your business works. That is the only way we can make the report genuinely useful to you.
Who this is for
CRM audit is not for everyone. Here is how to know if it is for you.
Good fit
Not a good fit
The process
Three steps. No commitment until you decide there is one.
1
Fill out a short form. One minute, maybe less. We ask a few basic questions about your company, your industry, and what you are trying to solve. This helps us understand whether we are likely to be a good fit before either of us invests more time.
2
If the form looks like a good fit, we will send you a link to book a free 30 to 45 minute call. No agenda other than getting to know your situation a little better and answering any questions you have. No presentation. No pitch. Just a conversation.
3
If we both agree it makes sense to go further, we schedule the full session. This is a three to four hour working session, usually done remotely, where we map out your business process together. Within 5 to 7 business days, you receive your full written report. That is it. At any point after step 1 or step 2 you can decide it is not for you. No explanation needed.
some examples
What this looks like in practice.
Every business is different in its details. But most fall into patterns we have seen before.
Manufacturing and custom production
Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering
The most common problem is quoting. It happens across email, spreadsheets, and someone's memory. The fix is usually a quoting tool connected to a CRM that cuts turnaround from days to hours. That one change often has more revenue impact than anything else we recommend.
Financial and insurance services
Insurance, Financial advice, Leasing, Investment=
Two problems come up almost every time. Leads falling through the cracks due to no structured follow up. And existing customers lost to competitors because nobody contacted them before their policy or contract expired.
Professional and business services
Consultancies, Agencies, Software vendors, IT, Accounting
Pipeline visibility is almost always the core issue. Work comes in through referrals and relationships but nobody has a clear picture of what is stalling or where deals are quietly dying.
Distribution, wholesale and trade
B2B distributors, Wholesalers, Trade suppliers
Companies with teams processing inbound orders manually often realise they could replace that workload with a customer self-service portal, and redirect those people to new customer acquisition instead. You are essentially building a sales function without hiring anyone new.
We also work with finance businesses, software vendors, and service businesses. A few industries we do not work in: medical, legal, gambling, crypto, adult content, or businesses we consider unethical or socially irresponsible. We would rather be upfront about that than waste anyone’s time.
Who is behind this
Jeff Tilley
Founder, Muncly
I am an experienced CRM consultant and business automation expert who has spent the last decade helping small and mid-size businesses implement CRM and sales process systems that actually get used and drive consistent revenue growth.
At Muncly, we have tested close to 100 CRM and business software solutions across dozens of industries. We are not tied to any of them. We do not have a preferred vendor we are trying to push. Our only interest is recommending what genuinely fits your business.
If we go through the audit and conclude someone else is better placed to help you, we will say so and point you in the right direction. We would rather do that than take on a project we can not do well.
What clients say
In their own words.
We worked with Jeff to organize our sales process for a small sales and service team. He set up pipeline tracking, reports, and dashboards that give me a clear view of tasks, key accounts, and opportunities. The biggest change is visibility. I know what the team is working on remotely, and I have more control and predictability in managing opportunities and forecasting. I recommend working with Jeff and will turn to him again for the next step.
This is the second time I have worked with Jeff, now I know him for already 6 years. 6 years ago we built a very successful project for a local driving school, now we have created another sales system based on rules and tools. I should say that Jeff is an exceptional professional, a bit opinionated which creates a lot of debates, and sometimes we even argue, but all arguments are purely professional which I love and I definitely could recommend him as a great CRM professional.
Jeff helped us implement Salesforce to collect and manage leads coming from the stands in Japan. He built a simple process for tracking leads and worked closely with developers of other stand components to ensure the whole project was integrated and ran smoothly. We have worked with Jeff for a long time, and this is already our second project together. He is my go-to person for CRM implementations, and I would definitely recommend Jeff and his team.
Concrete working deliverables on time of what we needed. Extremely knowledgeable about the Salesforce platform. Incredibly smart team that understood our business and objectives right away. Highly recommended!
Thank you to Jeff, Vishal, and their team for the support. They prepared the assets in record time, quickly adapted to our feedback, and handled every question with care. We definitely recommend working with them and look forward to the next set of assets together.
